Project Type - Alteration and Addition

This Alteration and Extension to an existing two-storey dwelling transformed the home to better suit the client’s growing needs while enhancing livability and outdoor connection. The design introduced two additional bedrooms and two additional bathrooms, expanding the home’s functionality and accommodating modern family requirements. Careful planning ensured the extension integrated seamlessly with the existing structure, maintaining architectural cohesion while delivering a modern contemporary upgrade.

A key feature of the project is the large outdoor deck with external stairs, creating a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living. The deck provides an elevated entertaining space that flows naturally from the upper level, while the external stairs improve accessibility and movement between levels. This addition enhances the home’s usability and encourages greater engagement with the surrounding outdoor environment and views of the stunning Lake Macquarie.

Complementing the extension is an inground concrete pool with a glass balustrade, adding a luxurious and modern recreational space. The pool area was designed as a private retreat and entertaining zone, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal.
